OUR MISSION

To direct efforts toward the improvement, betterment, and maintenance of Fort Independence, a public space located on Castle Island in Boston Harbor

To educate the public as to the historical significance of Castle Island and Fort Independence.

To promote historical and educational purposes for the general good of the community.

The Castle Island Association is a not-for-profit organization. All activities at Fort Independence hosted by the Castle Island Association are free to the public due to the volunteer efforts of its members.
